A Bilingual Marketing Site Moved Off HubSpot To A Fast Astro Stack

Jobmatix's marketing site lived in HubSpot CMS, and HubSpot was being switched off. Our FOUND team rebuilt it as a fast Astro site in English and Dutch, with an nginx redirect map that sends the old Dutch URLs to their new pages. Their marketer now edits pages visually, and every save deploys.

Understanding the problem

The Challenge

Industry HR Tech / Recruitment Marketing
Starting Point A HubSpot CMS Site Being Switched Off
Languages English And Dutch

Jobmatix is a Dutch programmatic job advertising and recruitment marketing platform. Its marketing site lived in HubSpot CMS, and HubSpot was being switched off. The site needed a new home.

The old site already ranked on Google, and its pages, from customer stories to blog posts and events, were indexed. Moving it carelessly would have thrown that away. The old URLs needed redirects to their new pages, and the whole site had to launch at once rather than in phases.

Their marketer also wanted to own the content after launch. The brief asked for a modern stack that could be maintained through Claude, without waiting on a developer for every new page or wording change.

We already build and run the Jobmatix product platform, and have for more than four years. The website became a second, separate workstream, with a different team, a different scope and its own timeline.

How We Built It

The Process

From a discovery call on 6 July to a launch on 26 October 2026, our FOUND team ran the rebuild through the FOUND Method in four phases, all pointed at one outcome: a fast site that keeps the search traffic Jobmatix already earned.

Phase 2

A Design System, Then A Redesign Of The Inner Pages

We built the design system in Claude Design and reviewed it in-house, and the home page design was finished and reviewed by our team on 24 August. The first AI-assisted pass did not hold up across a multi-page site, so in August we redesigned the inner pages. The full site design wrapped on 14 September.

Phase 4

An AI-Readable Build, A Redirect Map And A Visual CMS

The site is a static Astro build with hreflang alternates for English, Dutch and x-default on every page. An nginx redirect map sends the old Dutch HubSpot URLs to their new pages, and the contact form posts straight to the Jobmatix API. It is deployed on the client's own infrastructure with GitHub Actions, and TinaCMS lets their team edit pages visually.

Phase 1

Discovery And Mapping The Old Site

We opened with a 94-minute discovery call on 6 July 2026 with their CEO and the full FOUND pod, then mapped the old HubSpot site page by page. That inventory, including the Insights section with its blog, news, events and knowledge posts, became the skeleton of the new sitemap and the source list for the redirect map.

Phase 3

Copy In English, Then Dutch, Against Keyword Research

We wrote the English copy first and the Dutch translations second. New solution pages, from programmatic job advertising to high-volume hiring, were written against keyword research. That research was cross-checked with the rankings the old site already held in Google Search Console, so the new pages keep the keywords Jobmatix was already found for.

What We Did

  • Bilingual Website Design & Build
  • SEO Migration & Redirect Map
  • English & Dutch Copy
  • Visual CMS With TinaCMS

A Site Their Marketing Team Runs Themselves

FOUND, our website and AI visibility team, replaced the HubSpot site with about 75 URLs in English and Dutch. That covers new solution pages, six customer stories, pricing, and a rebuilt Insights section that keeps the URLs Google had already indexed. We also build the Jobmatix product platform, and that engineering story has its own case study.

Before launch, their marketer asked for a more visual editor, so we set up TinaCMS on the Astro repository. Their marketer clicks any text on a page, edits it and saves, and every save commits to GitHub and deploys in minutes. Editors log in with an email address, no GitHub account needed, and new pages are assembled from existing sections and kept as drafts until they are ready. The same content can still be maintained through Claude, straight from the repository.

Technologies & Services

Built To Be Read By People And By Machines

The site is built with Astro and ships as static pages, so every URL is plain HTML that a buyer, a crawler or an AI assistant can read straight away. TinaCMS and Claude sit on top of the same repository, and GitHub Actions deploys every change.

SEO-Safe Migration

An inventory of the old HubSpot site, an nginx redirect map that sends the old Dutch URLs to their new pages, and a single launch of the whole site.

Bilingual Content

English copy first, then Dutch, written against keyword research cross-checked with existing Search Console rankings, with hreflang on every page.

Visual Editing Without Developers

TinaCMS on the Astro repository: edit on the page, save, and the change commits to GitHub and deploys in minutes.

Early Results

The Results

The new site launched on 26 October 2026. In Google Search Console, the 14 days before launch averaged about 113 impressions a day, and the first 8 days after launch averaged about 248, while clicks a day held roughly flat at 7 to 8. That is one week of data, so read it as an early signal rather than a trend. Old Dutch URLs, such as the customer stories hub and the old contact page, redirect to their new pages through the nginx redirect map. Conversion data is not available yet.
